Many customers mistakenly understand industrial laser distance meters and civilian laser distance meters as one product. Actually, their main differences are as follows:
Firstly, industrial laser distance meters.
The measurement distance of industrial laser distance meters is about 0.5-3000 meters, and the accuracy is within 50 mm. Reflectors should be added beyond 300 meters, and some products can measure distance and speed at the same time. Mainly used for position control (such as vehicles and ships); positioning cranes; loading and unloading equipment; aircraft measurement (altimeter); metallurgical process control; measurement of inaccessible objects (such as pipe filling, pipelines, containers) and water level measurement.
Secondly, civilian handheld laser distance meter.
The measurement distance is generally within 200 meters, and the accuracy is about 2mm. Laser distance meter 100m is the most widely used laser distance meter at present. In addition to the function of measuring the distance, the volume of the measured object can generally be calculated.
