Recently, laser distance meters market has been extremely booming. In this article, we would like to summarize the several different applications of HOLO laser distance meters.
1.Measuring long distances or places that are difficult for inspectors to reach, such as the dead corners of a room, high windows, etc.
2.Applications in electrical equipment: measuring the distance to the power source, the length of piping, calculating and determining the requirements for lighting distances, office layout, the distance to the fuse box, verifying the specifications of important power distribution areas, the distance to the power socket, the distance to temporary walls and furniture, etc.
3.Installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment: Measuring the volume of heating/refrigeration rooms. Measuring the dimensions of pipes for calculating the cross-section and volume. Measuring the distance between the pipes and the exhaust ports, thermostats, and control lines. Determining the positions of pipes and valves of air handlers, pipes, coolers, and boilers.
4. Installation of large-scale equipment (elevators, workshop equipment): measuring the layout plan of injection molding equipment, the spacing between equipment, the power sockets on the production line, pipe measurement, the ventilation of pressure pipes and equipment (the distance from the floor to the ceiling).
5. Installation of pump/pipeline equipment: measuring the distance between the two pump pipes and the piping, the landing point of the power source, the distance between pumps, the distance that the pumps push the liquid, and determining the specifications of the pumps and motors.
6.Measuring wireless networks: information technology installation technicians use it to measure the extension and physical distances between network devices.
7. Evaluating various contracts (tenders): (HVAC, electrical, cable, maintenance). Measuring distances, areas, and/or volumes.
8. Measuring height (vertical distance) with HOLO laser distance meter. The distance from the ground to the ceiling, and the distances between the roof and the equipment as well as between the roof and the ceiling.
9. Measuring the distance in the obstacle area: tape measures or measuring rollers should not be used.
10. Installation in rented houses/offices: when the drawings are not available, actual measurements must be carried out. For example, measuring the distance to temporary walls and furniture.
